Trip Itinerary

Day 01, 15th Oct 2026: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,264 ft)
After arriving in Kathmandu, Binay Lama from Sacred Himalaya will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you can rest or explore the city’s tourist hub, Thamel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by Binay Lama, featuring authentic Nepalese cuisine that will introduce you to the country’s food culture.

Day 02, 16th Oct 2026: Nepal Historical and Religious Tour
Nepal Historical and Religious Tour: Swayambhunath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa
This is the first sightseeing day in Kathmandu. In the morning, we will visit Swayambhunath (Monkey) Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the must-see attractions in the Kathmandu Valley. In the afternoon, we will explore Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal and an important Buddhist pilgrimage site.

Day 03, 17th Oct 2026: Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat (1,100m / 3,610ft) – 213 km | 132 miles
The journey from Kathmandu to Jagat covers a distance of 213 kilometers and takes about 8–9 hours by jeep. Along the way, you will experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the people living in rural regions. If the weather is clear, you may even catch your first glimpses of the magnificent Himalayas—an inspiring preview before the trek officially begins the following day.

Day 04, 18th Oct 2026: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1,860m / 6,102ft)
The trek from Jagat to Dharapani takes approximately 5–6 hours along the Annapurna Circuit. This section offers a variety of landscapes, including lush oak forests, scenic valleys, and traditional villages. Along the way, you will cross suspension bridges and traverse both ascending and descending trails, making the hike diverse and rewarding.

Day 05, 19th Oct 2026: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m / 8,892ft | Trekking 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, we continue our trek, crossing steep forested ridges and navigating several landslide-prone areas before reaching the village of Chame. Along the way, take in the remarkable views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m). You may also come across small hot springs, perfect for a short relaxation break.

Day 06, 20th Oct 2026: Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300m / 10,827ft | Trekking 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, we hike through a steep and narrow valley to catch the first view of Paungda Danda, a dramatic curved rock face rising 1,500m from the river basin. From here, enjoy excellent views of Annapurna II to the south and Pisang Peak to the northeast. We then gradually ascend to the Upper Pisang valley floor, taking in the captivating landscapes along the way.

Day 07, 21th Oct 2026: Upper Pisang to Nawal (3,660m / 12,005ft | Trekking 5–6 hrs)
Wake up to stunning views of the Annapurna Range. After breakfast, we trek to Nawal, passing through Ghyaru, one of the oldest villages in the Manang District. This section offers scenic landscapes and a glimpse into traditional mountain village life.

Day 08, 22th Oct 2026: Nawal to Manang (3,519m / 11,546ft | Trekking 2–3 hrs)
This upper route provides outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and surrounding peaks. As we approach Manang, the climate becomes drier and colder. A short visit to Barge Monastery, the largest monastery in the Manang District, offers cultural insight and a chance to stretch your legs.

Day 09, 23rd Oct 2026: Manang to Melarepa Cape (Acclimatization Hike, 4300m /14107ft Trekking 4–5 hrs)
Today is an acclimatization day to help your body adjust to higher altitudes. After breakfast, we hike from Manang to Melarepa Cape, a sacred site offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Gangapurna ranges. The trail passes through high-altitude landscapes, traditional villages, and prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to rest, enjoy the scenery, and learn about local culture and traditions.

Day 10, 24th Oct 2026: Manang – Ice Lake Trek (4,600m / 15092ft- Trekking 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, we set out on a day trek from Manang to Ice Lake, one of the highest and most scenic glacial lakes in the region. The trail climbs gradually through alpine terrain, passing high-altitude meadows, moraine fields, and small villages. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and other Himalayan peaks. This trek is an excellent opportunity for acclimatization, photography, and experiencing the serene high-altitude environment. After the hike, we return to Manang for the night.

Day 11, 25th Oct 2026: Manang to Siri Kharka (4,060m / 13,321ft | Trekking 4–5 hrs)
From Manang, we head through the western gates and follow the path down to the river. After crossing the river, we continue along its southern side through coniferous forests. Passing Kangsar Village, we ascend towards Siri Kharka, passing a monastery along the way. The uphill walk may be a bit tiring, but the stunning backdrop of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu makes it rewarding.

Day 12, 26th Oct 2026: Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4,140m / 13,583ft | Trekking 5–6 hrs)
Today’s trek is not very steep but can be physically challenging due to narrow paths, loose scree, and landslide areas. The trail passes through dramatic rock formations and the middle of a landslide zone, providing a rugged and memorable trekking experience.

Day 13, 27th Oct 2026: Tilicho Lake Visit and Return to Siri Kharka (4,060m / 13,321ft | Trekking 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, we hike to Tilicho Lake, a spectacular high-altitude lake at the foot of the north face of Tilicho Peak. The trail passes grazing yaks and deer, and the lake holds sacred significance in Hindu texts, including the Ramayana. After enjoying the lake, we retrace our steps back to Siri Kharka.

Day 14, 28th Oct 2026: Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka (4,110m / 13,485ft | Trekking 4–5 hrs)
We descend towards Khangsar Village, passing Tare Gumba, a thousand-year-old monastery important to local people. Khangsar is sparsely inhabited except during festival periods. After crossing a seasonal bridge over the Thorang Khola valley and ascending a plateau, we reach Yak Kharka, a grazing area for yaks and herders.

Day 15, 29th Oct 2026: Yak Kharka to Thorong High Camp (4,925m / 16,158ft | Trekking 5–6 hrs)
Today is a steady uphill trek to Thorong High Camp, the last settlement before Thorong La Pass. Along the way, we cross a suspension bridge, pass Ledar Village, and traverse towering cliffs. The hike offers spectacular views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan.

Day 16, 30th Oct 2026: Thorong High Camp to Thorong La Pass and Muktinath (5,416m / 17,770ft | Trekking 8–9 hrs)
Today we cross Thorong La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world, traveling from east to west (Manang to Muktinath)—the safest and easiest direction. We start around 3:00 AM to reach the summit, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views. After taking photos and celebrating the achievement, we descend to Muktinath Valley, at the foot of the pass.

Day 17, 31th Oct 2026: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,710m / 8,891ft | Trekking 4–5 hrs)
After an early breakfast, we trek from Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site, to Jomsom, the administrative center of the Mustang region. The trail descends through dry, arid landscapes typical of the Mustang area, passing through small villages, terraced fields, and arid river valleys. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and other surrounding peaks. Jomsom is a lively town where you can explore local markets and experience the unique Thakali culture.

Day 18, 1st Nov 2026: Jomsom to Pokhara (Flight, 25–30 minutes)
After breakfast in Jomsom, we take a short domestic flight to Pokhara, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri ranges. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Pokhara, where you can relax and enjoy the lakeside scenery.

Day 19, 2nd Nov 2026: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (25–30 minutes)
After breakfast, you will take a domestic flight back to Kathmandu. The flight provides stunning views of the Himalayan ranges as you return to the capital. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or onward destination, marking the conclusion of your Annapurna Circuit adventure.

Day 20, 3rd Nov 2026: Departure from Nepal
Today, your journey in Nepal comes to an end. According to your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure, ensuring a smooth and comfortable farewell. Take with you memories of the Himalayas, cultural experiences, and spiritual journeys from your trip.

Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Sacred Himalaya. Please note that your trekking guide has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.

*****Accommodations*****
We will be accommodated in Moonlight Hotel or Dom Himalaya hotel in Kathmandu and Normal trekking guest house during the Annapurna Tilocho Lake and Throng La pass Trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional £190. 00 British pounds. Although single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and Pokhara,  the trekking regions at lower elevation, it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

*****Meals*****
Meals During our Annapurna Tilocho Lake and Throng La pass Trek, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served from the tea-houses or from a lodge menu where we spend the night whereas lunch will be.
