Our group of 4 had an amazing 12 day trek journey in late March/ early April that encompassed the Tamang Heritage Trail, Langtang Valley and a visit to the sacred mountain lakes of Gosaikund. Binay ran the show with a wonderful support team and his experienced offsider guide Krishna. The Tamang Heritage trail was fascinating, few tourists there and the experience was almost like living with the Tamang hosts in that Binay and team would prepare all the meals in the Tea House kitchens. Langtang is a great trek and we were all absolutely all altitude adjusted at this stage from Tamang for a pretty high ascent to ~4.8Km, unlike quite a few people we met on the way up with altitude sickness. Gosaikund was amazing – left in the morning in sunshine and shorts and arrived at our stop-off in snow in the late afternoon. Ascended the next morning amidst beautiful lakes and mountains.
